Released in 2016, the iPhone 7 got lots right. It was the first water and dust resistant iPhone, and it had the best smartphone camera on the market at launch. It also caused controversy as the first iPhone to do away with the 3.5mm headphone jack and the first iPhone to have a static home button with Touch ID. Powered by Apple’s 2.34GHz quad-core A10 Fusion processor and 2GB of RAM, the iPhone 7 is reasonably fast for everyday tasks and the camera still holds up today, with optical image stabilization and a 28mm equivalent wide angle lens, so you can take beautiful photos. It’s a good choice if you want an iPhone but you are on a tight budget.
