Google has released the final beta test for the latest Android operating system, before release sometime next month. Ready for the upcoming range of flagship smartphones. The beta release is said to have ‘final systems behaviours’ according to Android VP Dave Burke. What does Android P (9.0) have to offer? Of course, you have the standard improvements to navigation, security, speed, and the amount of control over applications. Android P is taking full advantage of Google’s new gesture-based navigation. The new OS also includes ‘app actions’, predicting what actions you may want to take in some apps. A new time placement, new shortcut icons display and plenty of rounded corners. Now, I doubt the new OS will be called ‘Android P’ because everything prior was named after tasty desserts. Watch the video below to see Android P in action.
