Apple’s Craig Federighi touted that Apple has spent a lot of time focusing on the performance of iOS 12 on older devices. Federighi says that users will notice apps launch 40% faster, the keyboard will appear 50% faster, and the camera will launch 70% faster.
iOS 12 was accound in June during this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Between then and September, iOS developers and public beta members will test a series beta updates. The first public version of iOS 12 should arrive in September.
