Unconfirmed HTC M7 has gained a few headlines of late. The image above is the render image that was leaked onto the internet. The snap shot was taken from a “short animation clip instructing new owners on first-time SIM card installation,” according to Unwired View. The information has come from a trusted source with access to an early version of the firmware, the site states.
From further investigation you can easily confirm that the lack of branding and screen borders is not the finished design, unless HTC is attempting to go for a new minimalist design.
We may see the M7 to be revealed at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona in February. Rumours suggest it is HTC’s new flagship, taking over from the One X, with a 4.7-inch HD display and a generous 1.7GHz quad-core processor.
It is said the screen would be much sharper than traditional smartphones as it would have a higher pixel per inch density than the iPhone 5. Also sources have suggested that the device would have a 13-megapixel camera incorporated with a new sensor capable of super slow-motion and video HDR, too.
It is also expected to have the latest Jelly bean version of Android to be rolled out onto the M7. The handset was allegedly to be unveiled at CES, but that didn’t happen.
